What do homeowners ask about Emergency?

What counts as a tree emergency?

Tree on or in a structure. Leaning tree that could fail next. Large hanging limb. Access blocked to a home. Anything involving power lines (call SDG&E first, 800-411-7343). A dead tree in the back corner that's been dead for six months can wait until Monday.

Does insurance cover emergency tree removal?

When a tree hits a covered structure — house, garage, fence, car — most homeowners policies cover the damage and partial removal (usually $500 to $1,500 allowance for removal). When a tree falls but misses structures, removal is usually not covered. We provide written reports with photos for claims either way.

What do I do while I wait for the crew?

Stay away from the tree, especially if power lines are involved. If safe, move cars. Take photos before moving anything for insurance. Don't cut anything yourself, chainsaw injuries go way up during storms. If the roof is punctured, put a bucket under the drip and wait. We bring tarps.

How fast can you actually get here?

Typical response is 60 to 180 minutes countywide, depending on where you are and how many calls are active. During major Santa Ana events our queue fills fast, calls involving structural damage or blocked access get prioritized. Call immediately, don't wait until morning for something that can't wait.

Homeowners who hired us for this

A eucalyptus limb came down on our fence during the first Santa Ana of the season. Branch Pro had a crew out within two hours, chipped and hauled everything, and the quote matched what they said on the phone. No surprise charges.

Melissa R. Emergency Tree Removal · Carlsbad

Needed Zone 1 compliance before our insurance renewal. They walked the property, flagged the dead oak branches and the overgrown chaparral, and had it all cleared in a day. Insurance signed off first look. Exactly what I was hoping for.

David K. Defensible Space Clearing · El Cajon

Three queen palms and a Mexican fan that hadn't been touched in years. Crew climbed the fans instead of using a lift, left everything clean, and explained exactly how often each species needs servicing. Fair price, no upsell.
